Liked: What a lovely hotel for the money the manager was exceptional if anyone is traveling the Pacific coast route 1 this hotel is ideal for a over night stay. Disliked: Nothing
Liked: Hotel employee in the office was very helpful and accommodating to our room request. We got a room facing the ocean. It was adequate given our one night stay, but nothing to write home about. Continental breakfast was ok. Disliked: The hotel is very dated. There is no elevator so needed to lug our bags up the outside stair cases.
OK overall but would explore alternative sites before booking again. Liked: Right along my route of travel. Disliked: Building and facilities dated.
Overall we loved our stay. Perfect home base for the Redwoods Liked: We loved the view of the water and the staff friendliness. Disliked: The building is a bit run-down in places.
Adequate accomadation but over priced. Liked: Breakfast was ordinary, the hotel a bit dated. The staff was really good. Disliked: Better breakfast, better price. We paid near $200/night. Maybe $140 would be more like it.
